Relationships that begin in the workplace are more likely to lead to marriage than those that start elsewhere, a new UK study suggests. Couples that meet through friends or online also had high success rates.
The study, commissioned by the makers of US television show “How I Met Your Mother”, surveyed 2,000 people in the UK and found that 14% of couples that meet through work end up married, followed by 11% who are introduced by friends.
Fifty-one percent of those surveyed said the place where you meet someone greatly affects the success of the relationship.
